Turn Out to Tell the Tone Deaf Trust Board What You Think about an Art Museum and Hotel Near the Heart of the Presidio's Most Historic Area
The meeting will be on April 7, at 6:30 PM, Palace of FIne Arts Theater. Come prepared with a short comment about what bothers you most. Be specific to say why what the Presidio Trust is planning is wrong or why the enviromental review process has confused you and the public. Has any information been misleading or incomplete? Give an example.

I suppose that if there would be a change in the make-up of the board of directors the CAMP and hotel and other development schemes could become non-starters.
If old man Fisher simply bought a large parcel of land somewhere he could have had his museum built and open already. His demand that the CAMP can only be in the middle of the Presidio is puzzling.
I don't know who is behind the hotel, I think maybe the Presidio Trust came up with that scheme - a Trust employee mentioned they wanted a hotel a few years ago at a "Film in the Fog" event. If the Trust had simply renovated either Pershing Hall or Stilwell Hall they could have had a hotel open already.
I don't know how much of this can be put on Middleton or on the board. Or both.
